As for my pastimes, with so little time nowadays to spend on them, I play various kinds of boardgames, and strategy games, both turn-based and real-time.

But one can find enjoyment in academe also. Besides televised documentaries such as History Channel's, Nat Geo's, or the Discovery's, reading materials, both traditional and online, can make my leisure truly worthwhile.

I love to study history, especially those of the Europeans, since Socrates to WWII, the Japanese, from Minamoto shogunate to Meiji era, and the Chinese, since the mythological Yellow Emperor to the Cultural Revolution. But these do not detract from those of other regions' or periods'--it's just that I have spent disproportionately less time on them.

If I have plenty of time I may study new languages--one at a time--especially the European, as I kind of find the Roman alphabets very convenient. But the Chinese characters fascinate me also. (As for now, I'm troubled by the Pin-yin. :P)

Regretfully, I haven't read many literatures, Thai, English or whatsoever, but I'm fond of them and will appreciate your suggestions.

I'm interested in philosophy, both eastern and western, archaic and modern--intrigued by epistemology, and right now in love with mathematics. (If you pay them some attention, you'll know what I mean.)

Though a devout Buddhist, I'm interested in other religions as well. If you are 'secular' enough, we may have a good time on this.

Economics, political science, sociology, pedagogy and other social sciences.

Physics, thermodynamics, biology, ecological science, and information technology. (Spare me chemistry and materials science!)

Socio-political-economic activities and phenomena, and the most urgent issues of environmentalism and natural resources.

Etc.
